Starting Point: Kouri Bridge, Kouri Island side

Access: 3 hours by highway bus & shuttle bus from Naha

Comments:

- the most recommended run by Okinawa local runners with panorama oceanview all the way.

- up north of Okinawa Island so it's quite remote area with long access time, therefore it's better to stay 1 night around the area.

- can add on Kouri Island round the island 6km, but beware of no pedestrian path on the island road.

Getting closer to the start point, and closer to the ocean now

here is where I started the roundtrip Kouri Bridge run, the entrance on the Kouri Island side

There is a bit of up-down close to the end of the Okinawa Main Island side

Arrived at the end of the bridge on the Okinawa Main Island side

keep running for another 100m to have a lovely view of the bridge

drop by the observatory terrace where you have another great view of the Kouri Bridge

returning to the other side of the bridge to finish the 5km roundtrip bridge run
