Comments:

- one of the most beautiful and most visited island in Seto Inland Sea, which is famous for olive tree farm.

- Tonosho Pier is the main pier connecting the island with Takamatsu and Okayama, from there you can run along route 436. In my case, I took a bus to Olive Garden and ran back.

- The view of olive trees along the route and the Seto Inland Sea are so refreshing.

This is where I started to run, Shodoshima Olive Garden, it's so pretty!

Olive trees along the road, and great seaview of Seto Inland Sea.

Turn right into Route 436 at the Triangle Building.

Running pass an olive tree farm, I am amazed to see so many olive trees on Shodoshima!

Continue to run along route 436, it's a cycling path but I don't recall any bike passing.

Passing by a store selling olive tree babies.

Arriving at a small town called Ikeda, really love the weather of that day.

Beautiful view of Ikeda Port, it's so calm and so blue.

Found a cute frog smiling to me at Ikeda Port.

After leaving Ikeda Port, continue on route 436, it's downhill for this section so it was great.

Passing by big Yakult ads sign, very eye catching!

Saw some local runners at the other side of the road, it's olive tree at the back!

Run uphill to an observatory rock, and saw this great view of Angel's Road.

Continue to run up to a shrine at the hill top, it was the toughest part of the run.

But you definitely will not regret to run up to this shrine, I love this view!

Coming back down to Tonosho town, the sunset sky was so dreamy!

Passing by the Road of Getting Lost, it was quite challenging to find the right path at the same time while running, I tried my best not to get lost!

The sky was getting darker and I ran faster to go back to the pier.

Finally I arrived and the Olive Line ferry was waiting for me! The lighted-up Olive Ring is like a crown for me, to finish this 12.5km run! Thank you Shodoshima!
