Comments:

- The route goes from Mojiko of Kyushu side, via Kanmon Tunnel, to Shimonoseki of Honshu side.

- Very scenic run with great view of the Kanmon Strait, the Kanmon Bridge and retro buildings in Mojiko & Shimonoseki.

- The underground tunnel opens 6am-10pm, highly recommend for sunset run.

Here is where I started the run - Kanmon Strait Museum, at the seaside of Mojiko side.

This is the road from the museum leading to the ferry pier.

Arrived seaside, you can see Kanmon Bridge on the left side. The tall building in front is Mojiko Retro Observatory Deck.

About to enter the "Blue Wing Moji" bridge, sometimes it will be raising up to allow boat to come in, in that case you will need to take another longer route to get to the other side.

The end of the Blue Wing Moji Bridge, turn right.

Arrived Mojiko Retro Sightseeing Train Idemitsu Museum Station, run along the railway to the north.

Extremely beautiful cycling and running path along seaside and railway, you see Kanmon Bridge is getting closer!

I really like this part of the route, facing a target and running close to it.

I was lucky, I saw the lovely blue train passed by!

Entered the Mekari Park, which is right under the Kanmon Bridge of Mojiko side.

Kanmon Bridge is very close to me now.

Right under the Kanmon Bridge, it's a nice place for sunset chat with a friend.

There is a Mekari Shrine, just right the Kanmon Bridge, with a lovely sunset view.

Arrived Kanmon Pedestrian Tunnel Mojiko Entrance. You take a elevator down from ground floor.

A long and narrow tunnel linking Mojiko to Shimonoseki.

The border line of Fukuoka Prefecture and Yamaguchi Prefecture in the middle of the tunnel.

Arrived the exit of the tunnel at Shimonoseki side.

Opposite of the road from the tunnel exit, you see the statues of historical battlefield mark.

Passing by some residential blocks along the seashore of Shimonoseki side.

Entered another seaside path of Shimonoseki side, the sky was turning orange color.

Passed by Karato Fish Market, very popular breakfast place for locals and tourists.

Passed by Kanmon Wharf, where you will find a lot of restaurants and snacks shops.

Passed by the Pier going back to Mojiko, the boat ride is just 5 minutes.

Continued to run along the seashore, you will see the symbol of Shimonoseki, the Fairy Wheel.

Right under the Fairy Wheel, it seems no one is on the ride...

Keep running towards Shimonoseki Station along seaside with beautiful sunset color.

The tall building is called the Kaikyo Yume Tower, it's a observatory deck as well.

Running in the city of Shimonoseki, getting close to the train station.

Went up to the flyover which leads to the JR Shimonoseki Station.

Finally arrived finish point - Shimonoseki Station building!
