Comments:
- Oohori Park is the most popular running route for local Fukuoka runners. There is a very developed jogging path with regular distance signal alongside of the inner lake of the park. It's 2km roundtrip.
- You can decide your running route from where your hotel is located to the park, as the park is quite centrally located in town so it's accessible from all directions.
- You may also run to the park next to Oohori, which is called Maizuru Park, where the Fukuoka Castle Remains was located at.

Here is the start point of my run, in front of my hotel, Hilton Fukuoka Seahawk.

The Yahuoku! Dome, home to the very strong local baseball team, is right next to my hotel.

After passing Yahuoku! Dome, you will see a big shopping mall - Markis.

It's a straight road from Markis towards Meiji Dori main road.

Arriving the closest MTR station of my hotel, Tojinmachi Station along Meiji Dori.

Keep running along Meiji Dori until you see the entrance of Oohori Park on the right side.

Many local runners on the running trail, good atmosphere!

Beautiful tulips between the trail and the lake shore.

cute Fukuoka character mark on the ground to cheer you up!

As the trail is only 2km, so I run out of the trail on half way and went into Kokutai Dori, passing by Gokoku Shrine.

Turn left to the side road after you see the shrine, and soon you will see the entrance of another park - Maizuru Park.

some of the remains of Fukuoka castle inside Maizuru Park.

Re-entering Oohori Park from West Square.

The sky was getting dark and illumations inside Oohori Park were on.

There is a long path in the middle of the lake, I run along it, with a few small bridges.

After passing this long and narrow bridge, turn right towards the Oohori Park metro station to finish the run.
